La Wein is an app for finding places and events in Amman. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use La Wein. Questions? Email hello@lawein.app.
Your account
- Give your real name and an email address you use. Keep your password to yourself.
- You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the app.
What you post
You can submit events, suggest places and apply to be listed as an organizer. When you do:
- The details must be true and about a real event or place.
- You must have the right to share the poster, photos and text you add.
- You let La Wein show, edit and share what you post in the app, on lawein.app and on La Wein's social media, so people can find the event or place.
- Everything is reviewed by the La Wein team before it appears, and we can change or turn down any submission.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse
La Wein has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post anything that is:
- hateful, harassing, threatening, violent or sexually explicit;
- false, misleading, a scam, or an event that isn't real;
- someone else's work or personal information shared without permission;
- spam, or against the law in Jordan.
If you see something that breaks these rules, tap Report this event on the event page or email hello@lawein.app. We look at every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or delete the accounts of people who post it.
Events, tickets and places
- Events are run by their organizers, not by La Wein. Dates, times, prices and line-ups can change; check with the organizer.
- Ticket and booking links open other websites. Buying a ticket or booking a table is between you and that seller or venue.
- Place details (hours, photos, addresses) come from the places themselves, Google and our team. We try to keep them right, but they can be out of date.
Using the app fairly
Don't copy La Wein's content in bulk, try to break or overload the app, or use someone else's account. We can suspend accounts that do.
Our responsibility
La Wein is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we can't promise it always will be. As far as the law allows, La Wein isn't responsible for losses that come from events, tickets, bookings or places listed in the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as La Wein grows. If the changes are important, we'll tell you in the app. Using La Wein after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms sit alongside our privacy policy. They are governed by the laws of Jordan.
